The Simplicity 5314 Women’s and Men’s Pants, Shorts, and coordinating Robe sewing pattern features sleepwear or loungewear in shorts and pants, as well as a robe. This is an “easy to sew” pattern, with a quick sew time of approximately 2 hours (sewing time only).

Simplicity 5314 is suitable for a variety of woven and knit fabrics, including Cotton and Cotton Blends, Flannel, Gingham, Laundered Cottons, Batiks, Chambray, Pique, Lightweight Poplin, Seersucker, Silks and Silk Types, Challis, Laundered Silks and Rayons, Cotton Interlock, Jerseys, Lightweight Double Knits, Fleece, Sweatshirt Fleece, Stretch Velvet, and Velour.
Don’t forget the appropriate interfacing for structure and stability where it matters on the garment.
You will also need 3/8-inch wide ribbon for inside ties, 1/2” wide elastic for back elastic, and 1/2-inch wide twill tape or ribbon for front drawstring when heavier fabrics are used.
