As I am about to finish up my current project and start the next sewing table project, I am sitting here with my box from My Fabric Designs. I am excited about the contents!
First is the small, quick reference Color Guide.
They printed this on their Premium Cotton fabric. It is a swatch that is 8″x8″. It is the most basic colors. It is enough to see how vibrant the colors can be on the fabrics.
I personally like the feel of the fabric. It is not rough. It has a good weight.
Here is a close-up of the fabric. Again this is the Premium Cotton fabric. It has a nice texture in my opinion. It is not perfectly smooth, it does have a little bit of grip to it.
Here is the back of the fabric. Notice that there is not a ton of bleed through on the colors even as vibrant as they are. There is definitely a right and wrong side to these fabrics.
Also included in the box was a fabric swatch book. It includes a 3.5″x5″ swatch of each of their fabrics. They are nicely held together so that you are never looking for just that one swatch.
Each swatch has the same branding pattern printed on it so you can see how the color varies from fabric to fabric. Each swatch is labeled with its name, contents, thread count, and weight, etc.
It is a bit reassuring seeing the fabric quality and weight. I am pleased with the vibrancy of the colors. I am excited to see my Bright Delights Fabrics printed and for them to arrive.
