The Butterick B4790 (16-18-20-22) Misses’ Wrap Dress sewing pattern features a very easy sew dress with only 3 pattern pieces. The bodice is darted in front and back. The back part of the dress wraps around to the front for a vintage sheath-and-overskirt look.

This pattern is a Retro ’52 Butterick reproduction, circa 1952.

Butterick B4790 is suitable for a variety of lightweight woven fabrics, including broadcloth, piqué, linen, and taffeta.

Don’t forget the appropriate interfacing for structure and stability where it matters on the garment. Light-weight fusible interfacing is recommended.
