Stacey Sansom Designs performs no-cut alterations (non-destructive alterations) and hems frequently. I have put 3 boys through orchestra. I am well-versed on the “no cut” alterations required to get these students stage-ready for performances. I have spent many concerts looking at poorly executed fixes for poorly fitting uniforms.
Do not settle for hem tape (it is not allowed) or pins that show. Step away from the duct tape that may result in on-stage uniform malfunctions. Get it done today!

Between 20 September 2025 and 3 October 2025, ALL SCHOOL ORGANIZATION UNIFORMS will save 20% off their no-cut alterations and hems.* After this date, the savings will return to my usual 10% off.
This is for all school organizations. The savings are not limited to band, choir, and orchestra. If you have a school uniform for an extracurricular activity that needs non-destructive or no-cut alterations or hemming, you can take advantage of these savings.

Most hems with more than 3 inches “taken up” will be hand-sewn to ease in all excess fabric. Invisible hems are weaker because the stitches catch a single fiber of the fabric on the outside layer. Care should be taken when putting on or removing the garment. Toes and heels can tear down invisible hems. If this happens, please schedule a repair appointment so the hem does not need to be completely redone. This will minimize repeat costs.
Do not delay to avoid rush fees
There are limited days available between now and the first concerts of the school year. I will be opening up a few extra after school appointments to accommodate students.
Any item dropped off at Stacey Sansom Designs, resulting in a 3-day (or less) return time, will incur an additional rush fee. Weekends incur additional fees. During this period, I will be implementing a graduated rush fee.*

No suitable appointment time?
I have some non-negotiable items on my calendar. These cannot be moved, so do not wait until the last minute to check appointment availability.
Message Stacey Sansom Designs directly if a suitable appointment time is unavailable. I will squeeze you in. Appointment slots are 30 minutes long, but not all appointments take the full time. These uniform appointments typically only take 10-15 minutes.

For your appointment, you MUST BRING THE SHOES YOU WILL WEAR WITH THE GARMENT!!! Shoes can change how long we leave a hem. This is for both male and female hemming. Please, please, please do not forget your shoes. You will have to reschedule your appointment.
