Pat Sloan’s Teach Me to Make My First Quilt by Pat Sloan is a good overview and thorough guide to getting kids, teens, and adults quilting very quickly.

Using this book, we will work through a project(s) each week and develop basic quilting skills and techniques. Not all projects in the book will be completed during class-time. These projects are perfect for extra practice.

The topics included in this book include basic quilting guidelines, basic block construction, cutting techniques, etc. Projects include completing the quilt blocks to complete 1 sampler quilt.
